Staten Island Auto Accident Kills Couple

Authorities in Staten Island have arrested a 24-year-old man who they say sped through a red light and slammed into a livery cab killing 50-year-old Mohamed Elnahal and his wife, 52-year-old Mervat Saad Ibrahim. According to this news report, Theodore Ricks is facing a number of charges including manslaughter in the second degree, unlicensed operation of a vehicle, leaving the scene of the accident and possession of marijuana. The car accident in Staten Island left one passenger in critical condition.
