Manhattan Auto Accidents Leave One Dead and Several Injured

Ysemny Ramos, a 29-year-old pregnant woman was killed and another woman was seriously injured after a commercial van jumped the curb of a midtown Manhattan sidewalk and crashed into a building. According to this Associated Press news report, the car's driver was arrested. Charges against him are pending for this fatal car accident in Manhattan.

Earlier that same day a taxicab crashed into a pizzeria in the Upper West Side causing injuries to seven people. One person was critically injured in that auto accident in New York. Some children in the pizzeria suffered injuries after they were cut from flying glass. It is not yet known what caused this accident.
