Long Island Car Accident Involves Suspected Drunk Driver

Two people were injured in a New York car accident, which police believe involved a drunk driver. According to a CBS News report, the car crash occurred in the eastbound lanes of the Long Island Expressway at exit 36. A 27-year-old man was travelling east on the highway when a westbound car driving the wrong way struck his vehicle. Both drivers sustained injuries and required medical treatment. A Westbury woman, who was driving the wrong way on the highway, is facing drunk driving charges.
